The newly refurbished 5 star Callander Hostel is based by the River Teith at the start of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and less than an hour’s drive away from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth.
Set in stunning scenery, surrounded by the imposing and beautiful Ben Ledi and the Callander Crags, the hostel makes the perfect location for anyone wanting to discover all aspects of Scotland.
Only 15 miles away to the east is the historic and ancient City of Stirling with its Castle, the Wallace monument and the world’s oldest football. To the west is the National Park with Loch Lomond and it’s abundance of native flora and fauna as well as plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. The hostel itself is only a 2 minute walk away from National Cycleway 7 that winds for miles alongside lochs and bens but follows the old railway line so with no difficult climbs to overcome.
Callander itself is a bustling town with all the amenities you could want but also with the benefit of being able to turn off the main street and within a few minutes being in the peace and tranquility of open countryside.
We have 28 hostel beds with comfortable en-suite rooms all with bedding provided, breakfast can be ordered at a competitive rate for groups and individuals on a budget.
